A Commercial Pressure Washing Success for AmeriGas in Fort Myers

At AAA Pressure Washing, we recently had the privilege of tackling a large-scale project for the AmeriGas propane facility in Fort Myers, Florida. The focus of this commercial pressure washing effort was the exterior surfaces of the facility’s six massive 30,000-gallon propane bullet tanks, as well as the piping and walkways that surround them. What started as a site dulled by layers of organic growth, mold, and mildew was transformed into a cleaner and safer space.

Restoring the Tanks with Precision

The propane tanks had accumulated significant organic growth over time, which obscured their surface and dulled the iconic AmeriGas logo. To address this, we applied our specialized soft-wash cleaning solutions, designed to penetrate and kill layers of organic buildup without causing harm to the surface. Once the organic matter was neutralized, we used mild pressure to gently remove the residue, revealing the clean, white surface of the tanks. This process not only restored the tanks' appearance but also enhanced the visibility of the AmeriGas logo, which now pops brilliantly under the Florida sunlight.

Piping and Walkway Cleaning for Safety and Functionality

Beyond the tanks, we turned our attention to the network of piping and the facility’s walkways. These areas had collected debris, dirt, and buildup. Using a combination of low-pressure washing techniques and debris removal, we cleaned these surfaces and ensured they were safe for daily operations.
